Yet another bulb question!?!

Hi mate, I've just recently changed them in mine.
They're BA9S size. I changed them to these:

To give this result:
It's a case of removing the wheel to get access (not enough access with wheel on full lock). Then it's two torx bolts to get the bulb holder off, next carefully pull off the connector from the holder.
Pull out the halogen bulb with a set of pliers.
Next you need a small cylindrical file to create two grooves for the pins of the bulb to go through. (It's a bayonet style fitting).
Then reverse to fit. Just remember LED's have picky polarity!
It will give you a bulb warning light on the dash, which you can remove by creating a loop in the circuit (I'm yet to do this!)

Thanks for the detailed response...it's seems a lot more work that I had hoped just to change a bulb!

Thanks for the detailed response...it's seems a lot more work that I had hoped just to change a bulb!
Exactly what I thought when I researched it! But it was a long Easter weekend with nice weather.. so thought I'd go for it. Took me a total of about 30 mins with phaffing around with taking the wheels off etc, it's honestly not difficult at all
If it's a BA9s bulb then get some OSRAM LED ones, then they're genuinely fit and forget. You will get a bulb out warning and so the best option is to code out the check. A local member might be able to do this, or if you're near NW London I can do it.
