The guys with the Ferraris (and the Lamborghini) were a great bunch, very friendly and curious about the Z4 Coupe, as one of the pictures shows. Maybe tomorrow I can load a few pictures from the event, including Mercedes W25 from the Mercedes museum, 66 GT40, Gullwing merc, 1963 aluminium E Type, SS100, Maserati 8C etc. It was Heaven!

Just in your part of the world this weekend. Started the high road at Baden-Baden, To Mummelsee, Then Freiburg. Stayed in Umkirch. Then on to the route des vins d'Alsace. Great trip. On the high road we came across an auto union meet.

How did you manage to go through Freiburg this weekend and not do Schauinsland? The pictures are of a layby just to the east of Freiburg.

How did you manage to go through Freiburg this weekend and not do Schauinsland? The pictures are of a layby just to the east of Freiburg.

I did see one Ferrari on a trailer near Freiburg. But that was it.
To be honest. We didn't know about that event. We were just out sightseeing. Which for us means picking a village or city we haven't been to. Then checking out the historic buildings. As our home country doesn't have much for historic buildings. It's something we enjoy doing. I suppose I need to dig a little deeper into what's happening in our chosen destination.

We do plan on returning to the Alsace for a longer holiday. As we really liked the area. Maybe next time we will take the zed as opposed to the wife's 328.
