Thinking of getting rid of my E85 and buying the E89. I have a 2005 (05) 2.5SE with 47k miles on the clock, Full black leather with upgraded (factory fitted) bucket style seats, bluetooth, cruise control. one small ding the size of a pea on the front wing. The reast of the car is really clean and straight.

Whats it worth? Just wondering if I should risk the dealer tearing my arms off or sell privately..

Oh yes forgot to add it also has a stubby fitted!

Why not try the dealer first a see what they offer at least it will give you something to work from.

For a 2005 car it depends on condition. I would expect somewhere in the £5-8k range.

Private sale I'd be thinking about 7500 for a 05 2.5i with sensible mileage. I'd have a paintless dent repair outfit have a look at the wing before selling if there is no paint damage. Does it have history etc as that makes a difference.
Cheapest Z4 on autotrader comes in at £6500 with nearly 70k more miles on the clock and a year older than yours.
