XL Tyres?

My comment about octane didn't apply to the Z4M but to a car where the requirement is simply for 95 octane...

As for the tyres - if BMW thought XL was required they would have said so - it's as simple as that. The ride of a standard Z4M is harsh enough - why make it harder still?

If you're fitting XL rated tyres on the rear are you fitting them on the front as well? Are you running the same brand and model of tyres on the front as well?
 
Just because bmw don't say fit xl
Does not mean you shouldn't
As I travel at very high speed at times in mines and our roads are pants so I'm simply not risking my life nor car to save a few £s

It's like fishing for trout with a 5lb line
What happens if you catch a 10lb fish?
It may hold it may break
Why risk it

Tyres same mss same spec all 4 always
