Xenons = Angel Eyes?

Hi folks, I was just wondering if all Xenon headlights on the facelift Si models have the Angel Eyes, or if it's an optional extra?

Also, I assume the Angel Eyes are basically sidelights? Is that right?

i maybe wrong but all Facelift Z4's come with xenons and angels. However only one angel per headlight compared to two on other BMW models

there is a thread on the forum (somewhere) thats goes into more detail. But the overall opinion was that the Z4 OEM angels are crap

Sadly Xenon's are still an option on the facelift (but standard on the E89) and they do come with one inner dim angel eye - which is effectively the sidelight; the other lens has a ring which is lit by the dipped beam, so with the dipped lights on it seems to have double rings..
 
Hmm, Ive always thought the angel eyes on my Si were rubbish. When I first got the car I thought they werent working properly!
