Yes, the same, it's a BA9S base, same as the stock Halogen, so it's near plug & play. I really don't think they're bright enough in the daylight to be worth the effort. A 6000k bulb will emit roughly 12% less light than a 4300k bulb, therefore not a huge reduction in light output going from stock to 6000k.
