Xenon Light cover

Hey all,

Question for you guys that have Xenon headlights, are the headlight covers larger to house the ballast then us with halogen who want to covert (or back again....long story).

How have other people adapted their covers? Beforehand I drilled a hole into the cover but obviously its not air tight but not had any issues in 8months.

Cheers

Mine had the 2xcite ones fitted when I bought the car and I changed the bulb to led. The indicator is at the side of the headlamp and much clearer. I placed the ballastor on the outside.

As far as I know the covers are identical. On oem xenon the ballast is bolted under the light.
The reflector is shorter than halogen and has the igniter behind it so about same overall length

Never heard in dozens of conversions to need to mod the cover.

People must mod the covers as the ballasts don't fit inside so the hole is for the wiring from ballast to bulb unless there is another way?

if I had to pass a lead into the light I would not go through the cover, but through the light body. That way you can still remove the cover easily to change bulbs.
