UPDATE: So I replaced the bulb no luck, so replaced the igniter no luck, replaced the module then nothing, so I thought id try my original igniter and it worked, whilst I was in the headlight I moved the wires around, so I'm unsure if its the wires or igniter.
Any suggestion as to what wire might be loose within the actual headlight I could review if anyone has experienced this? had taken a few heavy hits on pot holes so I reckon It could 100% be a lose wire.
Just hesitant to remove the light unit / bumper again after doing it for the module.
Thought I’d blown a bulb from all the pot holes I’d been smashing through. Went to swap it out, fist one didn’t work so tried a second bulb and still not working.
Side light and indicator both work though.
Sprayed the back with electrical cleaner as it looked a bit grubby where the crappy arch lines have let dirt through and still no luck.
Chat gpt reckons to try the ballast, or could it be the bot at the back of the bulb?
Just hesitant to order the wrong bit
Mot Friday in typical fashion.
How quick can the ballast be replaced? Chat gpt once again said 15mins but I really doubt it.
