Ok finally got my car back yesterday, 3 weeks after its little accident and I now need to buy some new Xenon bulbs as I have one which fails to light up every so often. With my MOT due at the end of the month I need to order some soon. Its defiantly the bulb as I have swapped them over and the problem switched sides.

I had a very nice rental while mine was off the road and one thing I noticed was how much better the lights were. I could see a clear beam pattern that stretched much further them mine. Now I'm back in mine I can barley see at night unless I have full beam on :?

Not really interested in any cheep Chinese imports so I don't mined spending a bit more to get an improvement, currently looking at something like this

or

Any recommendations?

You should be OK with any major lamp manufacturers such as those you linked. IMO, all lamps are basically built the same, even the cheap Chinese ones. However, the slightest manufacturing flaw can dramatically shorten the lifespan. You can possibly get a flawed lamp even from the biggest manufacturer, but the chances of getting such a lamp from the Chinese is much greater. It's basically a gamble, safer bets will cost more.
