Wye Valley - Aug 2nd ?

Late I know but, Phil45110, Danstarr & myself have just arranged to blast the Wye Valley area tomorrow morning as we haven't been out together since May. The weather is supposed to be good too.

The plan is 7am meet at Aust Services (M48) or 7:15 opposite Chepstow Racecourse, then breakfast somewhere between 9 & 10am. If any other Zeds fancy it, at short notice, you're welcome to join us.

(Usual rules apply... Newbies buy breakfast ! :D )
 
Have a blast guys - think of me when you are out I'll be travelling the 380 miles back home down the M74/M6/M5 'dream road' in my Passatt tractor - groan!
 
I'm tempted but won't be able to make it.

I haven't explored those roads yet, normally just head straight to the Brecons. Have fun & post up some pics please :D
 
Phil and I managed to knock off 100 miles tis morning before 9am, then sat down for breakfast and were both home by 10:30. Excellent start to the day and we also found a really good new road to complete the Wye Valley return loop !

Good stuff chaps , just heading out with mrs w for a Fylde coast picnic at Pilling sands :driving: another 100miles on top of yesterday 70 & hopefully find some blue sky 8)

Yes, much better pics than mine, even though I was stood next to him and both using a phone camera !

That was good going Spikey. if you'd left an hour or two earlier, you could have come out with us and spent another 2 hours with your bum in the seat !

We pretty much had the Wye Valley to ourselves this morning. I think we only had two cars to dispatch during the whole length of it. We did a double loop to Monmouth twice using different roads and then finished with breakfast in the NDC Quarry near Chepstow.

If the weather is good this week, I may have a similar evening run out with PSW007, but other than that, the next run will be Zedwheel's Brecons Hoon on Aug 16th.

Funnily enough Marlon, No we didnt !

We've been out every other Sunday for almost 18 months now and even with 2-6 Zeds in convoy we've still not even been spotted on the Forum !

We did spot a nice black E85 coming out of Chepstow (within the first of our 100 miles) on Sunday and got a wave back, but other than that, Diddly Squat !

We've been out every other Sunday for almost 18 months now and even with 2-6 Zeds in convoy we've still not even been spotted on the Forum !

We did spot a nice black E85 coming out of Chepstow (within the first of our 100 miles) on Sunday and got a wave back, but other than that, Diddly Squat !
