I made the carnal mistake of giving someone the most easiest of tasks to change a side bulb to actually leaving me potentially hundreds of pounds out of pocket.
Seems the rear cover wasn't correctly shut and therefore water ingress damaged the control unit and igniter. Why bmw said I need a new head lamp cover, I have no clue but if anyone has either of the above to sell could they let me know.
