Folks

Anyone considering selling any 17" Z4 alloys they no longer use/require?

I'm considering the idea of a second set of wheels on a budget. Let me know if you've got something, alloys-only preferred as I don't need the tyres.

Cheers
Ally

i have a set with RFTs. they aren't in top noch condition though and 2 of the tyres need changing.

I will also have a set in the next few days when i put my refurbed 108's back on - i dont really fancy posting them though!! :(

Only 450 miles from me and the seller won't post :(

Hi Ally,

I'm contemplating swapping my 17s for 18s... I had decided I was going to keep them and just get a refurb (they're a bit scuffed). The problem is, because that was my plan I've just fitted Eagle F1 Asymetrics... just over 100 miles ago. All in they cost me around £350 so I'm going to want to see a good chunk of that back - mostly to pay for a set for the 18s if I get them. So...
1. If you decide you want the wheels with tyres let me know.
2. I'm going to try and see if someone will take the tyres, if they do would you be interested in the wheels?

If you're interested in either option let me know and I'll get some pics... not sure of the type number but you can see them in my signature pic.

Cheers

Hi

Internet filter at work is blocking all images so I can't see them here, will at home later though :)

Would possibly be interested in the wheels alone if you manage to sell the tyres on, but my stumbling block is the price of winter tyres. I'd hoped to buy Peddy's wheels but I'm struggling to justify a set of winter tyres due to the cost: around £400 fitted for the tyres alone. Just haven't got the fundage to justify that for the amount of proper use I'd get from them.

I'm keeping an eye on the prices of winter tyres online but prices are only likely to go one way with winter fast approaching :(

Just had a look at Peddy's wheels... same as mine... although appear in slightly better condition to be honest.

If I manage to sell the tyres I'll drop you a line!

To that end... anyone one want some nearly new (not eve worn in yet!) Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetrics - 225/45 R17? Not run in yet and seem to be excellent! Surprised by the grip in the wet. Guy at work has them and said they really hit their stride after about 500 miles, on his Evo VIII at least.
