WTB: Reinhold remote roof module

I am looking for the module to control the operation of the roof, via the key fob. I would like to spend about $50 on this.

You're not the only one, but if that's what they want, you'd be lucky to get it for $200
 
Thanks, I almost had one (new) on ebay for $50.... but the guy was out of them by mistake. I can get the one-touch and drive-while-putting-top-down for $50... but no remote down left. Sigh... so close. I am surprised someone hasn't reverse engineered it yet.
 
i got one of these modules. Bought one of fleabay and it was faulty. After alot of messing around i got my money back. I bought one from them direct for 119,90 plus 12,90 Euro shipping. Email them info(at)cabrio-module.de.

Well worth it.

They won't sell them direct to the US due to product liability laws. Seems our American cousins are liable to injure themselves opening and closing a roof.
I took some over in a suitcase last year for West Coast guys :thumbsup:
 
Any chance we can get someone to order one and then ship it across the pond? What might that cost $USD?
 
And who takes liability for the functioning of the products? I happen to know the owner of the Fleabay faulty Reinhold module which he bought from the factory direct but sold his car prior to fitting it.

I'm bumping an old post... 8)
Searched and didn't find anything more recent on this topic, I would like to get something that works like this, has there been any more developments or can someone point to a spot to buy one in the States.... I know, I know, before you even say it. :oops:
