WTB: Bridgestone run flats 225 40 18 - X 2

Hi All,

Im looking for 2 x Bridgestone (RE050 or similar) run flat tyres for my daily (E93).
Thread required is 4mm+ with preferably a DOT date of 2015 onwards.

I am based in Bristol but willing to arrange a courier to collect if required.

I’ve got a nice pair with between 4.5 and 5.5mm
They are on 2012 but in great condition and only £70 the pair if you’re interested?
I’m in Norfolk.

Hi thanks for replying. I would prefer to get newer tyres than 2012 (tyres on the car are dated 2015 but edges worn due to tracking being out) as they get flagged up as an advisory come MOT time I believe if over 5 years old.

Tyre age has never been an issue in MOT's before, so long as they meet all other requirements... don't have age cracks or bulges, enough tread, etc.

I was running a set of 104's over winter last year on original tyres - 2005 or 2006. Good condition all round as they'd been stored correctly for about a decade!

Quite often tyres will sit on the shelf for a year or two before even making it onto a car.
