I didn't think this was possible. A full tour bag and Motocaddy trolley in the boot of my new (to me) Z4! It just shows you how adaptable they are. :D :D

Considering it was built in America , probably in the design spec. The Jaguar XK had a specification in the design brief that it must fit two pairs of golf clubs in the boot..... something they missed out in the F-Type .. if you ever seen the boot.
 
I was really impressed with the boot size on the Z4 managed to fit bags for me and the Mrs for a 2 weeks road trip + a tent and sleeping bags, and that was with the tray folded down for top down driving!

My understanding is the Z4 had to accommodate two full sets of bats.
