Would you use this.........

So i've been doing some research on brake caliper pistons and found the following;

The reason this is interesting is BMW do not sell pistons separately, therefore if your piston is corroded, you need to order a new caliper (c.a. £300). However the above company sell a brake piston for the e46 m3 for £12.72!

My understanding is the front caliper is the same on the e46 m3, e46 m3 CSl and Z4M.

Any thoughts / experience of using this company would be welcome........

Generally if a piston is worn you'll find the caliper bore is none too good either. As brakes tend to be quite important I'd play it safe and replace the caliper. However in this time of austerity as long as you'r not going to too many track days it should be fine.

An interim measure may be to look for a refurbished capliper, there are some brake specialists who do that.
