Would you lower the roof if its windy?

You worried about being blown out Andy?

How much of an effect wind speed will have on you is probably an interesting question.

If you were going 70mph you'd probably not notice it unless you were in a hurricane.

I did today enroute to work. Lovely. In fact as it was a tail wind, it was even calmer than normal. Might be a different story on the way home tho :)

I would only worry about really strong winds which might damage the hood whilst opening/closing.

All other scenarios - game on :)

Cheers chaps-just me being a wuss then-bit blustery round here today -thought best leave it up,i didnt want grit, crisp packets etc in the car with me

All roadsters should come with a big notice projected on to the drivers side window, from a wee laser thingy in the dash. Something along the lines of "Ensure roof is in the correct position before entering" 8) as we all know the correct position no need to put that in the notice.

All Coupes should come with a can opener. :poke: (You knew that one was coming)

Always have the roof open when it's windy, otherwise smell makes my eyes water ;)

Nothing quite matches the feeling that your hair is going get pulled out by the roots!
Fast as possible in my book - and if you can't do that, pull alongside a HGV on the motorway and wind the windows down :P

Wind is good for getting rid of dust if you haven't hoovered in a while....

markeg, LOL

If you have a tail wind, and you match your cars speed to the wind speed, then you would feel no wind at all...............................In theory!

I've driven through a semi mild sand storm while in Las Vegas with the top down..... High winds are fun.
