Browsing, as you do, only to come across this.

Hardly any pictures, seems like there's NO RESERVE, says 75k then mentions 85k in the advert details

Certainly a lovely colour, just in case anyone's interested

He only bought that in the latter half of last year IF it actually changed hands. I remember it due to the iffy mileage from the clock change and the service history was pants...and there was something else at the time I wasn't happy about but now can't remember....caveat emptor etc etc. RS's need full, unbroken history or potentially big bills beckon.

He says build #056, but the plaque says #065 and IIRC that interior pic shot is not the actual car...they were taken from a test shoot in another car. The leather is standard on the car, too IIRC; not an upgrade as he states.

Sterling Grey Roadster S's are not popular in the used market, especially with black leather.

Yep, it was up for sale last September, but I think it was in the Liverpool area then

I would ....after verifying ALL of its history useing service history and mot history, and finding out why the speedo was changed, assuming the car is good in all other respects .......and I like Sterling Grey though a black interior doesnt do it for me.

Worth that in parts ?

Possibly...., but I think that the other one that I've just posted a link to (#31) is probably a better buy - assuming it checks out OK - at £10,750 (before negotiations)

Bollocks, Sterling Grey is one of the most popular colours. Perhaps in Wales they clash with all the slate making them less popular there? :poke:

Well Sterling Grey was the second most popular colour for new RHD Alpina Roadster S's (after Black Sapphire) but, from watching second-hand sales, it does seem that, subjectively, they seem to hang around longer than other colours - on the other hand it may just be that the examples that have been offered in SG have been poor, without someone able to give an objective examination it's difficult to tell
