Would anyone be interested in a Group Buy for wheel spacers?

One of my sponsors produces wheels spacers. The quality of their work is superb and their prices are very good. I should think I could get them even lower if we get a few of us ordering at the same time.

If you're interested put your name on the list with the size you'd want. Once its been going for a few days I'll approach them with the numbers
and confirm price, but rest assured, you won't be able to get a better price in the UK!

1) M@r]{ - 1x pair 12mm, 1x pair 15mm

Hubcentric? Think the need for that depends on the size doesn't it? Ie 10mm not needed? I'm no expert, they'll know. Studs he'll sort as well.

Going to bump this as I'm hoping to get some made this week. so if you want to get in on this pipe up now!!

Some more info about the company doing these can be found on their website:

M@R]{, how much are you expecting these to cost? I might be interested if it isn't too expensive.
10mm is fine with OEM bolts I'm sure, but when do you need to start thinking about longer bolts?

To be honest after having all the wheels off over the weekend I would say with 10mm you'd need longer bolts. The thread is very short on the OEM ones (about 25mm) so with 10mm spacers you'll only have 15mm holding the wheels on :?

The kits will could come with longer studs but personally I'd prefer to source my own, ie in the colour I want with locking wheels bolts as well

That does sound a bit short for comfort!

...and approx expected cost per pair, +/- cost with bolts? Cheers

did this go anywhere ? have been looking at the spacers/bolt kits on ebay but £100+p&p for front & rear is a bit steep :?

You'd be very lucky to find a full set of 4 plus bolts for less than £100 + postage, just bought some myself and including 4 locking nuts was £130 all in.

Put a call or email into DM-Motorsport, i'm confident they'll be able to sort you out for less than 100 quid!

my 19" wheels have rubbed, i think fitting spaces would cause even more damage

what wheel width / offset are you on ? makes all the difference , ,our Zed's standard our around 35/40 ? get a wheel on 25 ET & forget the 20 mm spacer 8)

I was toying with the idea of starting a 'rubbing' thread with a vote to try and work out / demonstrate what combinations of spacers, springs and wheels work, or don't. Haven't done it yet as I don't want to be the source of a thread with the first two pages full of funny men telling me they were expecting a thread about :wkr:

:D

LOL ^^ :D

I got rubbing with my OEM 18's with 12mm spacers on the front. It was only on full lock and slight (on the arch lining not the wing)
