Work Bench Choices

I'm looking at replacing my old B&D workmate bench, fancied the Black & Decker WM825
However it got slaughtered in the Amazon reviews. A lot of negative comments about the build quality, clamping mechanism etc
I suspect my current one, being quite old is better made
Anyone got one or can recommend an alternative?

Only for Ad Hoc personal DIY use so don't want to break the bank

Yeah, looked at that one - reviews a lot better than B&D, but people still complaining about the stability.
TBH though on the You Tube clip you posted and others I've seen it looks ok to me
Not sure what people expect from a portable bench.
