wont start .. not starter motor .. with video!

Hi all,

after two weeks laid up i took the Zed out for the first time yesterday. all was good and I went and put a full tank in in prep for the weekly commute ...

then this morning it wont start . I recently replaced the battery and starter so the whole thing cranks like crazy. However the engine itself wont turn over... just a lovely hum ( that from memory is always there when you turn to ignition 2, and then stops after a few seconds)

So i did a video ... (and then converted it using some crappy software on the net which adds a watermark). the sound seems to be coming from around the DISA valve but no idea if thats actually whats causing it

just as an update - there is no fuel getting through to the engine so it would appear to be a problem back at the fuel pump end. getting recovered to a local indy tomorrow morning.
