i don't know whether its me being thick , but bmw have used a tiny connector setup and my big chubby hands cant for the life of me release any of the connectors to the centre brake light, the latch or the lock in the boot lid.... it doesnt help that I'm currently trying to work on the car in a really low light area and the space is confined , as these have never been released id guess in my car they could just be stiff but I'm struggling to see the usually squeeze and release type connectors, anyone thats removed their boot/trunk lid, is their a specific tool needed to release the harness inside the lid...

Happy sunday peoples!

Thus might help

cheers buddy, trunk lid is now removed , those little connects are a pain and i didn't want to chew them us using a electrical flat head... in the end i gave them abit more of a tug and they came free.....

i Think a piece of my light has fallen into the carcass of the lid which was causing the rattle, the lid is also surprising heavy, if someone made a carbon part for this it really would be beneficial.
