Wipers stopped working

Bit of a strange one. I have the dreaded wiper slip when they are on intermittent. Turned them on yesterday and they worked fine went to turn them off and they kept going. After 20 seconds they stopped completely at 90 degrees. My first thought was wiper motor. Then I tried pulling on wiper column and I don't get any water pump sound from the washers. Is it as simple as a fuse or the stalk

Any help would be appreciate

Ray

I had the same issue. I replaced the motor relay at the back of the fuse box under the glove box. It's really hard to get to. Also cleaned up the motor contacts and it's been fine for over a year now.

It could be ray. I have had this problems with mine. Never had it stop completely.
If you clean the motor there is a guide on hear. If that dose not fix it after checking the fuses. Then get a new really for the wiper motor. But if you washers are not working also it dose maybe sound like a stalk?

Thanks guys. Will have a proper look this weekend and see if can sort. Just strange the stalk didn't seem to make the washers work

Could it be this issue?

This worked for me when the wipers would just stop and only turning the ignition off would get them going again. It seems to be fairly common.

Went to look at wiper motor today. Thought best check before pulling fuses etc. It's fixed itself. Now all I need is the car to refurb its own wheels and roof motor :D
