Wipers problem

Hi guys, I've got a problem with my wipers whereas they're not "parking" properly all the time when they come to rest.
Here's a video - sorry I can't figure out how to embed it

Excuse the blades I know they need changing!

I'm not overly mechanically minded but hopefully someone will know what the problem is and how to fix it. Thanks in advance.

P.s sorry for my droning on it the video! Lol

Can't see the videos but I would say the wiper arms need to be adjusted so that they rest/park where you want them to be. Just need to loosen the retaining nut that holds the wiper arm to the body, remove it and adjust to your preferred position.

There's a "How to" on this forum .... http://www.z4-forum.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=32&t=55535&p=1066205&hilit=wiper#p1193879

Its a well know problem and to be honest with you its a bit of a pain in the ass to sort ,the biggest issue is removing the plastic rivets which hold the plactic tray under the wipers to the bulkhead ,they usually sheer off or snap and have to drilled out .

I had the same problem, its ever so easy.

Took all of 20 mins having read the guide, wipers working perfectly now!

I read online that this 'bouncing' is caused by a relay starting to fail. Mine does this as well so have ordered a replacement relay from BMW - cost roughly £20 delivered. Will let you know if this cures the problem when it eventually stops raining :)

I had a quick gander at the other uploads...
Hope you got the window fixed, that would wake up the neighbours! :D
