Wipers not parking in correct position

Just picked up my Z4 and the first thing i've noticed is that the wipers do not return to their fully down parked position. They seem to move up a few inches and then stop. Is this a common issue? Should I speak to the dealer about getting it sorted? Other than this, the car is fantastic :D and is in superb condition for its year :thumbsup:
 
Basically whats happened is some grease has got onto the tracks within the motor housing which causes the the motor to run on, a stealer or garage will probably try to make you buy a new motor when all that is required is to remeove the existing one and clean the grease from the tracks.

Not sure I'm confident enough to take my car apart like that though. Maybe the dealer will do it under the warranty?
 
under warranty, then it's a free motor swap I'd say..
certainly wouldn't class it as wear and tear in my eyes :)
