Been driving me nuts.
Had new screen fitted and fitted new Bosch classic blades, 22, 20.
First time out in rain operating wipers couldn't see through screen.
Like a grey fog on outside. Also blades jiggled.
I thought must the Simoniz shampoo used on car. So used some glass cleaner, still same, looked like those TV film radar screen sweep.
Tried T cut, still no joy.
What the hell is on the screen.
Saw Robbiz recommending Bosch Wiper Blade Aerotwin AR551S on the US forum.
Bought, fitted good wipers, but made for LH drive cars. Upside down blades but fit ok.
I also put Prestone washer fluid (because it's only slightly yellow, doesn't stain my Orion silver car) with spring water from Lidl (17p 2 litre), hoping first no hard water stains and second no bugs to clog washer filters.
Also i have had for some time bottle of RainX (200ml £5). Forgot how good that stuff was, so applied that.
Now a happy bunny
no fogging streaks and very little if any hardwater stain on shield. With RainX almost don't need wipers.
