Wiper problem

Today was one of those very rare occasions that I have actually driven the car in the rain.

I was stuck in some really heavy traffic and it was belting down, that's when I noticed that during a one time single sweep of the wipers there was a clunk that could be felt right up the brake pedal.

It only happens on a single or first sweep of the wipers but it's dam annoying. It stops when the wipers run continuously. Worried there might be something loose.

Anyone care to check their own car for a comparision? You need to have your foot fairly firm on the brake pedal but for me it's quite a clunk.

I remember this on my e92 , you can feel it most when stationary. Its probably just one of those things.

My wipers are completely silent with no vibration.

I never noticed this sort of thing, and I've driven the zed in all weathers. I have the rain sensing wipers if that makes any difference.

I've the rain sensor wipers to. The car is at the dealers today to see if they can open my jammed boot and I mentioned the wipers to them.

Hopefully get a result later today.
