Wiper linkage popped - ball joint fixing??

Hi all

Had an issue the other day with the drivers side wiper stopping, stripped arms off and cover earlier and the ball joint had popped off the arm, I have been able to pop it back on and it's not dropping off (though is a little loose- so guess it needs pinning somehow or it will soon pop off again)

Having read several threads and posts on here I have seen cable ties, drilling and using split pins, and linkage clip kits mentioned,the clip kit can be seen here - its for a puto but off a thread on here so guess it fits!


Any ideas which is best option?? my head says the clip (assuming its a universal fit) pin is hard work,and cable tie is easiest but probably wont last?!

P.s. I cleaned it and pulled all the crap out after I took the pics

Glad you found the problem but unfortunately I can't advise on the best solution but I'm sure someone will come along soon.

Personally I would go for the clip, no drilling or messing around, the ty-rap solution is a temporary fix as far as I'm concerned , and yes it will come off again unless you perform a proper fix !
