Windshield washers

Hi guys,

After looking around for a bit I can't find any advice or issues like this, so I thought I'd post here and see if any of you have had this issue.
In short, my windshield washers have stopped working. With the key in the ignition, but without the motor running, there's no whine from the pumps or otherwise when I pull back on the windshield wiper handle. Nothing happens besides the wipers moving across the windshield.
I've pulled the fuses (numbers 21 and/or 38 if I remember correctly) and they check out fine. The wiper fluid tank is of course filled. The hoses are unclogged as far as I can tell.
Is there anything else I can try short of pulling out the pump and checking it? Is there a way to troubleshoot the pump without removing it? Is there a different fuse that might be the issue?
Any suggestions more than welcome!

Thanks!

Might be bad form to 'bump' your own post, but anyone with any ideas with regards to the above would be most welcome.
Thanks.

Ryushe,

It's a case of eliminating the obvious - if you have checked fuses etc then next check the power to the washer pump. Disconnect the connector on top of the pump and with someone operating the switch using a meter check power is reaching the pump (connect the meter to the two pins in the connector block). If you have power then the pump may well be defective - if no power then possibly the switch.
