Windshield leak on passenger side near dashboard.

Ok, well before I start, I'll be making the call to the dealer to get this fixed tommorow or the day after. Anyways I've noticed that at speed (above 60mph) that water will come into my car from the lower right windshield. I've never seen even a spot of water come in the car from washing (including pressure washing-and no I never put the nozzle that close to this spot to damage the seal). I looked at other Z4's on the run, and the flap at that location (god wouldn't a pic be so helpful atm?) lays over the edge of the weather seal much flatter than mine does. So anyways, I don't know if this is a common problem or just unique to me. I guess i'm chiming in for one, to let that one other person know he's not alone, and for two, because this counts as a legit post count +1

Hey, now, we can't have that kind of thing going on here!! :P

And, btw, I have never heard of a leak in that spot before.

Er F-N-I, there was my problem. Should I put it in bold face for you to see it  :poke: :poke:
I probably won't call till payday to bring it in. Though after closer inspection I think I could just get away with getting some black RTV from work and DIY.

I was talking about posting the solution to the problem you are having. That was mean :(

Lol, sorry FNI, I couldn't help it. Will you forgive me if I buy you some beers? It read to me like you missed the problem and I couldn't resist a :poke:

Question for you. Does the current windshield have the BMW on the drivers side? If not the windshield has been replaced before. Just a thought.

Actually there was this other thread on another forum with your same windshield issue. Come to find out the guy had been out road coursing the car the week before and that is what caused the leak. :poke: :fuelfire:
