Windscreen wipers problem

Hi guys,
just got my z4, and noticed a problem with the windscreen wipers.

they dont sit right, they sit slightly higher up on the swing than normal.

when you use them they will do the full sweep across and back, but when they stop on the return sweep they go all the way, then pop back up a little and sit high, this normal or do they need adjusting?

I thought of changing thier seating position, but then thought if i do that, they will try to go further down, possibly catching the bonnet as they try, any suggestions?
 
My wipers were the same (Wind screen had been replace by previous owner) I adjusted mine down however there is a problem with the z4 park switches on the wiper motor you need to diagnose whether it the just mechanical position issue or the park switch.
