Windscreen wiper issue...Pls help

So I have already tried replacing the relay (is there only one?) and cleaning the grease from the contacts and plate in the motor. But still my problems persist! :headbang:

The problems: when I pull the stork towards me for wash and wipe, the wash only operates. The wipers refuse to operate with the washers?
Also, the wipers seem to only operate at one speed no matter what position the stork is in. They only increase in the frequency at which they wipe.

Any ideas??

Thanks

I'm not saying that this will work, but I'd give it a shot, prior to doing anything major. Purchase a can of Electric contact cleaner and after inserting the straw, spray (a lot) where the stork meets the steering post. Also, spray the switch which is at the end of the stork. A can of contact cleaner isn't costly.

I suspect the electrical contacts in the wiper switch are either dirty or have partially failed.

Interesting!

I didn't consider the stork could be the problem. I will give that a try! :driving:

Thank you!

Hi Martin,

Do you think that's what is required to fix my problems? How much would you want for it?

Cheers

I can send it over to test?
Sale or return?

Thanks Martin.

Let me give the contact cleaner a try first as I've already ordered. Will shout if that doesn't do the job
