My driver's side wiper stopped working. I was hoping that the securing nut had come loose, but no such luck.
I assumes that the ball had fallen out of the socket so I ordered some clips from the internet for the huge outlay of less than £4 including p&p.
It's a really simple job - it has to be otherwise I wouldn't have done it! Only took me 30 minutes, and 10 of them were working out which way up they went.
The picture on the internet was of the whole assembly off the car and turned over. :x
Anyway, the purpose of this post is to say that you'd be bonkers to go to a garage to get this fix done. You could do it yourself in the time that it would take to drive to the garage! I cannot stress enough that I wield spanners with the same skill as a fish wields a golf club!
