windscreen/windshield question

 i'm from the bay (california)
i just recently had my front window completely replaced..

my question is....

the sealing/molding at the bottom where the wipers are seated is coming unattached. it seems like the sealant that holds that plastic type of molding there is wearing off.

how much of a problem can this cause in the long run? i have that under warranty due it being done under insurance, and i do intend on addressing the issue asap, but i need to know how much i can slack off.

i tend to have a very busy lifestyle and i dont want to be without my car for another 2 days (let alone one day even).

There shouldn't be any sealant on that panel but it seems common for the fitters that replace the windscreen to not have the clips needed and so they stick it down instead, leaving a right mess on mine  You've probably seen my moaning thread

I had a fitter from another company say that once it's not been sitting flat on the screen, it's very difficult to get it sitting properly again.

It should just clip on, carefully lift up the edge touching the windscreen and look down the screen and you should be able to spot them, they may be missing/broken in some places.
