Windscreen washer blocked

Hi was hoping someone could help me. My windscreen washer appears to be blocked as very little water is coming out when I try to clean the screen. I am assuming there is some type of block in the pipe or something. I have put the hose in the water tank to clear any dirt that is in the tank but no real joy.

Any thoughts on what I can do.

Try the usual stuff:
Pull the hose off the jet and see if water pumps out of it, also try clearing the jet itself with a pin if it's just the one side blocked. Beyond that you have to track back towards the water tank/pump until you find the point it ceases to pump past.

and after that, don't put any Halfords screen cleaning in it as that is most likely the culprit ...

Just a tip. As stated above dont use any cheapo screen wash. I found this causes potentail blockages. I have tried all types of screen washes over the years but currently using BM's own, its a bit more expensive but seems to do the job fine.

I use Audi screen wash, excellent stuff.Smells nice, never blocks and cleans well.

I've also used Prestone but I'm seriously considering einzett. The BMW is too expensive at the local dealer and I don't always get by there to top off.
