Windscreen - rubber corner trims

Bit of a boring thread but does anyone have the part numbers for the rubber corner trims used on the E85 windscreen? I'm having a new screen fitted and want to make sure OEM parts are used due to problems several others have encountered. I've tried looking on RealOEM but can't find it because I'm useless. :roll:

Not a clue, but if of any help, I just called BMW and went to go get one - much easier and for the sake of £25 and a trip out, you guarantee no leaks/issues.

On a side note, turns out where I was having my windscreen replaced (Croydon branch of AutoGlass) was right opposite Croydon Coopers BMW... after AutoGlass said they couldn't go get one for me!!!!!

if you are referring to the trim that is around the actual glass then the fact that your trim has separate corners would indicate that the screen has been replaced at some point and a non OEM trim has been used.

you can usually get a screen trim from BMW and the fitters will have no problem using it. some will even get it sorted as part of the insurance job. I couldn't be bothered to wait for the insurance/fitters to tit about getting permissions etc and just bought it myself when i had my screen done.

the first time they did the screen they used a generic one with the separate corners and it looked awful.

Many thanks for the help JAD and domsz4. I've asked Autoglass to use an OEM seal and they've agreed. I'm sure they wouldn't lie to me...!
