Windows

I've been looking at several M40i's online & several of them have listed "Green Tinted Heat Resistant Windows" or similar.
Which windows are these & does it actually do what it says?
Also, does it impact on the view from outside to inside the car through these windows?

Separate question: Does the (plastic?) rear window have a heating element in it & is the view acceptable in terms of clarity as my previous "plastic" rear window on my Z3 went yellow'y after a few years.

I can't answer the first question but for the second, yes, it has a heater. The view out will depend on your wind deflector, or lack of, rather than the window itself. I think the window might actually be glass, but someone more knowledgeable can confirm that. My car is 5 years old and it is pristine.

Glass rear window with heating elements in mine, no tinted glass, no factory option I’ve seen, most glass has a faint green tinge
