Windows opened half way

Not sure if it's normal but something strange happened at the weekend. It was frizzing as always in the UK. I was coming back to the car so I pressed the boot release button put something in. Closed the boot. Then pressed the unlock button on the fob.

When I opened the door rather than the windows dropping the usual fee ml it dropped half way. Got in closed the door and it went up full way.

Haven't been able to repeat it but wondered if this was expected. Only thing I can think of is rain related or the fact I popped the boot before unlocking the car to get in?

I noticed something new too, with the roof down I clicked to open the boot and the roof closed half way, stopped and clicked the boot open.
