Window Wipers

Hi, i badly need to replace the window wipers blades on my Z4... do Halfords usually stock decent wiper blades that will fit the Z4 or should i order them from BMW... thanks in advance for your help...

Get the better Bosch ones

I bought aero Goodyear or Pirelli ones, they look so much better and work pretty well too.

Just got some Bosch ones delivered today (ordered Sunday) normal type with spoiler so they sit properly unlike aero ones.

my z did have a bosch wipers, and they were a pretty uselees (altough its surely cause the age and wear..)
but i decided to get oem wipers from ebay, costed just under 50€with postage from germany. Will see that does they perform better.. Hope so

Well the new BMs come with the Bosch ones as standard I think. My old E90 had the Bosch ones from BMW. The ones on my E90 were aero ones and they were awesome. The ones on my Z4M are useless so will be buying some soon.

Just get the rubber refills from BMW. Rather than the whole metal/rubber assy. Way cheaper($11 vs $55) at real oem. Took me about 10-15 minutes to swap. They are listed under electrical.

We've goe to Bosch aeroblades. Much better than the standard metal framed......quieter and smoother. Easy fit, too.

Got ours from Eurocarparts for around £20, but plenty of suppliers out there. You need a 20" and a 21".

The 1st link is for aeroblades (what I have) and the 2nd link is for the framed type. Down to personal preference....

Problem with aero blades is they don't sit flat on the passenger side

If you look at the pics you will see. Depends on preference but I like these:

Think they look more aesthetically pleasing. They are not hard to fit and will come with instructions.
