Window motor help!

Hi I'm having an issue with my passenger window motor on my 3.0l 2003 z4
Which I can't put my finger on...
Motor hasn't worked since buying the car just over a month or so ago
So I bought a new motor and mech to swap it,
Took all the door card off and removed the motor then tried the motor and it worked :/
The motor runs in both directions up and down, so put it back in with
The mech and tried it again... Which it worked briefly moving the window slightly and then
Stopped, but then once removing it again it works.
I have swapped the mech but not the motor as it does seem to be working just not in the mech.

Anybody had this issue before?
Any help will be great thanks
 
The motor now moves the window up and down when the door is opened and closed,
but will still not drive the window up and down completely using either of the switches :/
 
window dropped half today when roof was lowered then went back up with a touch of the button...
Then when attempted to put it back down manually it got stuck at the bottom :/
Disconnected the battery left it 10 mins, connected it back up, slammed the door and it went up
No idea whats happening with it, life of its own.

Any suggestions? Im confused ha
