Hi Guys,
So Last night I was driving along when I heard a big bang and my drivers side window disappeared and then somehow went all the way up to the top again but didn't seal to the top so it was whistling then over the course of the 10 minute journey it slowly dropped a few cms... So when I got home i manually lifted the window before shutting the door and then pushed it as high as I could to stop it leaking.
Am I right in assuming this is the window actuator cable snapping? If so why did the window then go up again? Very confusing!
Any ideas how much this would cost to repair if I took it to a garage or is there anyone on the forum who knows what they are doing with this job who could help?
Also at the same time I was thinking it might be worth fixing the door handle cable as from the outside of the car it is very stretched and takes me leaning on the door to get the door opened which I have lived with for a while but now feel like maybe it is time to fix it at the same time.
