Wind deflector

I think my wind deflector was fitted incorrectly (back to front), I may just be paranoid, however I do feel it is rather more blustery than the my 2021 G29, can we have some pictures of fitted wind deflectors on G29's posted in reply's please to compare.

Mine the kink is forward, it would seem a poor design if it can be fitted incorrectly and if this is your first G29 you may not know.

I was looking at my wind deflector yesterday and considering whether it needed a bath (like my E89 one did), it clearly says back on one side to stop fitting it wrong

It can't be worse than the useless 'thing' supplied for the f33. Go over 40mph and it just fell flat. Absolute waste of time.

Thanks guys, took it out last night and indeed it has front and back written on either side, so yes, the kink faces forward
[ref]Pondrew[/ref], I think your wind deflector is faulty, never had an issue with mine collapsing even at motorway speeds

You’re not taking into consideration it has to deal with all the hot air he spouts as well as wind speeds….he’s well on his way to PVR levels… :You’re into F1 wind tunnel capabilities there, not mainstream car manufacturers….o .:poke: :poke:

That will be it! Luckily I sold that piece of lard nearly three years ago. :D

wind deflector removal was the first thing done when I got the car. I didn't like the gauzy look , obscured rear vision and I don't mind wind noise in the cabin with top down, it's part of the convertible experience.
