Will Z3 wheels fit a Z4

Will be selling my Z3 at some stage once I get a Z4.
Have a set of style 32 17inch 7.5 J wheels with almost new tyres on and I really like the look of the wheels.
Most of the Z4's seem to have the split rim 18inch staggered wheels with wider rims I believe.
My question is - can I do a straight swap from car to car or am I asking for trouble on either of the cars. I did read somewhere that on modern roads, 17 inch gives a better ride?
Alternatively I suppose I could look for a new set of wheels like the 32's but designed for the Z4 .
Any thoughts gratefully received
Gareth

They'l fit fine mate & you could always buy a set of style 32s in 18s , just make sure they aren't off a 7 series

Thanks for the info-I was wondering if there was a noticeable difference and need to check before I buy tyres for the 18 inch 108's which might be best to get rid of and get some 17 inch wheels as I am mainly interested in comfort.
Does it matter on the width of the wheels as I have some 17 inch but only in 7.5J

A further question re wheels, would 16 inch style 104's 7J BMW ref6758189 fit a 3.0 as I can see they fit the 2.5 but some info suggests not the 3.0.
Reason for fitting is to try and improve the ride as not really interested in performance in cornering
Thanks
Gareth

They should fit 3.0 Se but will look like socks on a rooster
17s minimum & 18s ideally
It's all about tyre choice
Go for something like Uniroyal Rainsports 3s , very compliant & soft ride
