Will this gearbox oil be OK to use?

I've got a couple of bottles of this gearbox oil:

left over from another car and thought it might be OK for the gearbox in my 2005 2.2 5 speed.

I know it says sealed for life but the change sems to be getting a bit notchy especially first to second.
Now not being that "Into" oil I am not sure if its the correct viscosity etc and hope someone with more knowledge than me could advise.

Stick your reg in here and get the correct grade:

From memory it needs to be GL-4 spec., but check as above.

I would never use oil I had lying around. Chances are it's not the correct grade, it ages, even in sealed bottles and you're taking all the risk of box damage for £20 of oil.
