will 17x9.5 wheels fit on front?

Looked around for answer, can yall help me with this one? I have a set of black rims that I want to put on the z4 (2004 white 2.5). Came off an M3 race car, they're on slicks at the moment and want to buy tires. But how will they fit?

Just tried the rear the other day, didn't think id be a problem since they are only 17s. Then I measured the width...got a little worried. Will try on front soon.

So if they fit, they fit? Anything I should look out for?
