Went to a friends this evening for a few beers, took my car, wife drove home. Bit strange being a passenger in the Z, didn't like it at all. Luckily the alcohol took the edge off the nerves

What did you think of the ride? I sometimes feel a bit sorry for my passengers over the bumpy bits.

I guess you could have been sitting on a "beer cushion" though. :D

The ride felt quite harsh compared to when I'm driving, doesn't feel too bad normally but I still have RFT's but will swap to normal tyres when I change wheels to 18's later this year.

I hate it when my wife drives my zed. She just doesn't seem to understand what the gears are for.

Luckily mine's an auto. To be fair I'm not worried about her driving it she's a good driver and is very conscious of how I feel about my car. It just feels a bit odd being a passenger.

Mine an auto as well but she also says I make her feel nervous !!!

You should encourage her to drive it - then it's easier to get additional expenditure authorised. Works in our house :)

She only drives it when really needed, because she's so short it takes me ages to get the seat & steering wheel back to how I like it, other way round if I drive her car, I have to move the seat back before I can get in and I'm only 5'11.
