Why so cheap?

Well, it doesn't have pearlescent paint 
Maybe it's what you can't see that's making it cheap - looming inspection 2, potential requirement to have brake pads/discs, suspension parts replacements such as bushes or wishbones...all of that could add up to £1,500. It could also be a Cat D... But you'd have to look into it and speak to the owner because on the face of it, it looks like a bargain.

I bought my 2007 coupe at 5 years old and am the 4th owner.
1) BMW for 3 months
2) Owned for 21 months
3) Owner for 2 years

Sounds a bit better now (4 owners over 7 years) however the next owner will be number 5 possible at under 10 years of age.. As per previous posts on the forum it looks like a general rule of thumb for ownership of these types of cars is 2 years..
OK, it's different if the garage is also considered as owner...
Mine just had 1 owner at 8 years old, except for the garage where I bought it after that.
I overpaid mine, but I had all history, 1-year warranty and bought it from the same garage were it was sold as new and maintained as well
And now, after 2 years, never had any issues except for a few sensors that have gone recently.

As above the autotrader advert is a scam, I too see these and report them daily. Sometimes I feel like I do more reporting than autotrader do!
