Why do people do this?

May have also happened to an Elise, but was also definitely a Murci that was affected. Limited access here, but this is the discussion from another forum:

Ah a different case of the same kind of idiots. :fuelfire:
The Elise was jumped on by a group of about 3 drunken guys, with it's soft top being dived onto. The video soon led to them being identified and even the owner was found and notified, not sure what the outcome was though.
