Why are so many Brits selling their Zeds?

Good question 20Ducks, I have noticed that as well. Do they know something we Yanks have not discovered yet? :?

I first thought it may be because petrol prices have skyrocketed everywhere, but these Z4's aren't fuel guzzlers. I'm perplexed.

Think it's just people moving on.

Over here, most people probably have a Z4 as a daily driver, so after 12-18 months you can get fed up with only 2 seats and they get sold on, whereas with you guys they're quite often a second car.

Petrol and road tax prices are definitely taking their toll here though.

I can't say I've noticed any recent increase in sales, but then again it's like most things in that once you focus on it it happens all the time.

Zeds are not that common, but now my neighbour has one and lunch today there were 2 within 10 yards of where I parked. They're everywhere.

I noticed ths on Z4um as well. Even the most enthusiastic posters seemed to have moved on before the forum died. In fact, a lot of its death could be attributed to a loss of interest in Z4s by pretty much everyone with admin rights, who'd moved on to other cars. Over here, they do seem to be 2nd or 3rd cars, and being able to switch up keeps the ownership experience fresh longer.

As am I. I plan to keep the M Coupe indefinitely. I quit running marathons because my knees bother me when I run more than 15 miles or so, so it's possible I'll have trouble working the clutch in another 20 years or so, but barring that...
