Who's got a muffler delete I can listen to :)

Thinking of muffler deleting on my Z4M........

I've had quotes and the garages who have offered to make the pipes came back and said "you do know how loud it is, don't you?"

Now having friends with TVRs and Supras with CATs and mufflers that have... ooops. fallen off I know how loud LOUD is, however I don't want droney, fart can noise, just a bit more when you get going etc.......

I'm on the borders of Berks, Surrey & Hampshire so if there's anyone semi-near by with a muffler delete I can listen to please let me know.

:fuelfire: pop pop... bang... pop...

I have a full cat back straight through system with a rear muffler delete... DO IT. :) Im in Bournemouth, I posted a thread a while back with the sound in car and outside, static rev.

No the it's stock up untill the cat then straight through all the way from that, with just some lovely burnt tip tailpipes. PM me and i'll send you pics and a video of the sound.

See this video has appeared recently and it's of an M, there are 2 more videos on that guys youtube page

But how loud is it really when you're listening on your desktop PC.........

Do we LIKE this or think its a bit drone prone.....?

Sounds good.... But is it tooooooooooo loud :) ?

I really need to hear a muffler delete on a Z4M or at least an e46 M3 as the default engine sound is so different to the 3.0

I do miss that sound mind, I had a 2.8 Z3 before, so smooth.......

Why are people obsessed with making their cars noisier? ... Don't they ever drive to the South of France? ... Thought not!

It's not on a M but here is my Quad Conversion and it doesnt have any rear boxes. It's pretty loud but it does pop and fart like an old granny!!!

That the 3.0 then? Sounds good to me..... bet it pops on the over-run too :)

I got a quote for some straight pipes with tips made up in 304 steel, it came in around £700 with VAT!! and the guy said...

"Whilst we can make this, you should be aware that it will be EXTREMELY loud"......... lol..........

£600 + VAT they said - but then I do need 2 sets I suppose. Still I was thinking more £300-400 for it.

Still not found an M muffler delete to listen to, come on, someone must have one lol
